Put simply, a driver’s main job is to deliver propane to the customer. Really the only thing keeping him from making a delivery should be things out of his control (weather, mechanical issues, traffic, etc.). Unfortunately in our best efforts to improve routing efficiency and forecasting, we’ve asked our drivers to learn new systems and memorize how to get into them. For the veteran driver that knows the streets in town like the back of his hand, this can be a massive hurdle to overcome and can take time.
We offer a triage Helpdesk to handle level one calls (password resets and some training issues) to assist in this area so your own Helpdesk can get busy helping drivers and CSR’s with business impacting issues.
